Tamar Braxton Denies Being Released From WeTV: No One Has Sent A Flower, Card, Or Text To Me!
Singer and reality star Tamar Braxton is still battling WeTV after being hospitalized following a reported suicide attempt. The 43 year old singer seemingly responded to rumors that the network, which not only plans to release her new show “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!” but has also featured the Braxton family’s show “Braxton Family Values”, will be releasing her from the network.
Tamar Braxton took to twitter to deny the reports and revealed that she hasn’t even received any gifts nor well wishes from the network,
“LIES!! no one has talked to a lawyer, or to me, sent a flower or card, text to me or NAN!!! THIS is the abuse and lies I am talking about. This is not helping my mental state. They just won’t stop until they see me out of my mind or dead”
Tamar is responding to the statement that WeTV put out today (July 31), claiming that they will respect the ‘Love and War’ singer’s request to end their almost 10 year relationship,
“Tamar Braxton has been an important part of our network family for more than a decade. As she focuses on her health and recovery at what is clearly a difficult and personal time, we will work with her representatives to honor her request to end all future work for the network.”
The network also reiterates that her show will premiere as planned on September 10 and there will not be any further edits being made to the show.
This news is the latest surrounding the Grammy nominated singer who publicly spoke out for the first time since the near fatal incident on July 17. Tamar Braxton wrote a lengthy post thanking everyone for their prayers and well wishes, but did not hesitate to slam WeTV for the treatment she’s endured while working for the network,
“Over the past 11 years there were promises made to protect and portray my story, with the authenticity and honesty I gave. I was betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid. I wrote a letter over 2 months ago asking to be freed from what I believed was excessive and unfair. I explained in personal detail the demise I was experiencing. My cry for help went totally ignored. However the demands persisted. It was my spirit, and my soul that was tainted the most. There are a few things I count on most to be, a good mother, a good daughter, a good partner, a good sister, and a good person. Who I was, begun to mean little to nothing, because it would only be how I was portrayed on television that would matter. It was witnessing the slow death of the woman I became, that discouraged my will to fight. I felt like I was no longer living, I was existing for the purpose of a corporations gain and ratings, and that killed me.”
